The Breeders
of Excellence This site is filled with information and pictures. I am a Code of
Ethics Breeder with the
North American Coton Association (NACA), I also belong
to the CFC and CKC.

Our family consists of myself, my wonderful husband, Ross, two mostly grown up
boys and a little pack of wonderful Cotons. We live on an acreage just south of
Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We are small family Coton de Tulear breeders with a
focus on health, temperament and socialization. Our dogs are full members of
our family. Our goal is to raise happy, healthy pups, in order to provide our
customers with wonderful companions, and help preserve this wonderful breed.
Our dogs are raised with the utmost of tender, loving care. We do health testing
on our breeding dogs prior to breeding to ensure our dogs are the very best for
breeding.

We are firm believers in training classes. My interest has grown so much that I
decided to take a dog training course at the Animal Behavior College and I am
now an ABC certified dog trainer. Training gives an extra special way to increase
communication and strengthen the bond with your dog. We do agility with most
of our dogs, and we take various other courses as well. It is a fun and
educational outing. It also gives some one on one time, which is important. I also
believe in taking seminars, I attend all the seminars I can in order to learn as
much as possible.

When our circumstances changed, and we had the time to have a dog, I
researched many different breeds. My husband had never had the joy of having a
pet before, so I wanted to make sure the transition was smooth. We were looking
for a  breed of dog that was small, sturdy, hypo-allergenic, not  nervous, who
required some, but not an excessive amount of exercise. We also wanted a
lively, intelligent dog, but not a hyperactive dog.  That is when I came across the
wonderful Coton de Tulear. They were everything we had hoped for and more.
They are packed with personality. They are ever enthusiastic, and game for
anything. They are happy and exuberant, and an absolute joy to have around.
We laugh every day. The Coton is noted for their cheerfulness. They have been
dubbed the "anti-depression"dog of France. Cotons are known for becoming very
attached to their humans and are very adaptable. This began my love affair with
the Coton de Tulear.

The Cotons have so enriched our lives and brought us so much joy, they became
my passion! I decided to go into breeding. After much research, I embarked on
this wonderful journey. I wanted to make sure that my going into breeding would
be for the good of the breed. This has been an exciting journey. Cotons are my
total passion. I sincerely hope you will experience the joy of adding a little Coton
or two to your life. Just be warned, Cotons are extremely addictive!
