One of the most frequently asked questions is whether to get a boy or girl.
We feel the individual temperament is most important. The basic
differences are that the girls love you and the boys are in love with you.
Boys tend to follow you around more, the girls are a little more
independent. The girls tend to like to sit on your lap more than the boys,
yet the boys want to be near you at all times. Both are wonderful, so the
bottom line, one of each is perfect! Actually, the best way to choose is to
go with whichever temperament suits you best. This is far more important
than sex although if you already have a dog of one sex, it is generally best
to get the opposite sex. Usually opposites get along better.

The other question we get asked a lot is whether to get one or two at
once. It can work with two at a time if managed properly and you are fully
aware of the implications, however, it is much easier to add one at a time.
Training two puppies at one time can be very challenging. One advantage
to getting two at once, is that they can entertain each other. If you do go
with two, you also need to make sure you have one on one time, so that
they bond well to you and not stronger to each other. The bottom line is
the easiest way is to get one first, train puppy, then you can add a second.
The first one can help train the second one.

We do not ship puppies, however, we are more than happy to meet you at
the airport. We don't feel it is safe to ship in cargo, since once they are out
of your hands, they are out of your control. It is possible that they can
have a bad experience that could affect their temperament. I know some
breeders say they carefully ship, unfortunately, it isn't possible to control
that. The other concern is climate control in cargo, there have been tragic
incidences of pets dying in transit. The only safe way for them to travel is
in an airline bag at your feet. If you don't live close to us and it isn't
possible to come, I would be more than happy to recommend another
reputable breeder for you.

We do screen all applicants to ensure our puppies have the best of homes.
We like to know what your situation is so that we can find the best match.
We have puppy temperament testing done by a professional dog trainer in
order to make sure the puppy's personality suits the family he/she is going
to. It is our mission to match families with the best possible match for the
ultimate in happiness for both our puppies and their humans.

It is often difficult for people to know how to choose a good breeder. Here
is an article that explains how to choose a good breeder quite well,
how to choose a good breeder or this one is very good as well, check list
of things to ask a breeder.  Make sure you have verification of health
testing, not just claims that it's done. Most breeders will register their dogs
with
OFA. All you need is to know the official name of the dog and you can
look it up yourself. It is also extremely important that you visit the home of
the breeder to see where the puppies are raised and meet the parents.

There is usually a wait time involved due to the Coton being a rare breed.
We breed for quality, not quantity. We feel that it is imperative to have
time with each puppy to do all of the proper socialization, and stimulation
to ensure that they are happy, confident companions. The following
pictures are pictures of our dogs (past and present) when they were
puppies.  We hope you enjoy! Also feel free to look at our
