If you are looking for a Chapala Bay puppy, I'll just tell you a little bit about the process. First, please feel free to contact us anytime. Click here for a doc to explain our adoption process. Essentially, the first step is to fill out our questionnaire, once I receive the questionnaire, I will contact you. After that, you may come for a visit and then decide if a Coton is a good match.
We do screen all applicants to ensure our puppies have the best of homes. We like to know what your situation is so that we can find the best match. We have puppy temperament testing done by a professional dog trainer in order to make sure the puppy's personality suits the family he/she is going to. It is our mission to match families with the best possible match for the ultimate in happiness for both our puppies and their humans.
There is usually a wait time involved due to the Coton being a rare breed. We breed for quality, not quantity. We feel that it is imperative to have time with each puppy to do all of the proper socialization, and stimulation to ensure that they are happy, confident companions.
It is also extremely important that you visit the home of the breeder to see where the puppies are raised and meet the parents or at the very least the mother of the pups. You want to make sure that all the dogs live happy, well adjusted lives.
